Grandfather Great Spirit All Over The World,

The Faces Of Living Things Are Alike.

With Tenderness, They Have Come Up Out Of The Ground.

Look Upon Your Children That They May Face The Winds,

And Walk The Good Road To The Day Of Quiet.

Grandfather Great Spirit,

Fill Us With The Light.

Give Us The Strength To Understand And The Eyes To See.

Teach Us To Walk The Soft Earth As Relatives

To All That Live.

Cleaning Heishe Necklaces

Generally, the only thing you'll need to do to your bead necklaces is polish the sterling cones (using a silver polish cloth like the ones that come with every order).  Sometimes though, after wearing or rubbing a necklace for a long time you'll see dirt collected on the beads.  Not a problem, these pieces were meant to last a lifetime.   Just soak your necklace in some gentle soap (like Dawn) and water, softly rub the beads and string clean and let dry flat. The necklace won't shrink and the beads will shine afterwards.

You can also use the polish cloths to shine and clean the beads, just move the cloth softly up and down on the beads to remove fingerprints and dirt and to give it a spiffy, new shine.  Voila!

Adjustable Ring Shanks

Many of our rings are offered with an 'adjustable' ring shank. What does that mean?  Well, one end of the shank is not soldered so you can easily move the ring in or out to make it smaller or larger, depending on what finger you want to wear it on,  or what time of year it is.

There is a base size that is smallest, and it usually can be opened up another two sizes before it's open too much.

As you can see, these are very versatile.  They will stay at the size you want, and will feel like a normal ring.  You can also opt to have it resized to a specific size for a sizing fee of $25.

Hope you have a weekend, see you online!

Peace, joy and blessings,

Julia
