86th Annual SWAIA Indian Market
Santa Fe, New Mexico, August 18-19th, 2007

Thought you would love to see some images from last year's Santa Fe Indian Market. This is the largest and most prestigious juried native art show in the world. There were over 1100 booths with artists representing tribes from all over the Unites States and Canada with an estimated 80,000 people in attendance. Held on Saturday and Sunday from 7am-5pm, with Previews of the ribbon winning art starting on Friday night. There was fabulous weather, beautiful art, incredible music and dancing going all day, traditional clothing and food; something for everyone. Saturday night is the big Auction Gala at the La Fonda Hotel that raised almost $100,000 for SWAIA (Southwestern Association for Indian Arts). All the art is donated by the artists and auctioned off by an auctioneer from Christie's.
