85th Indian Market in Santa Fe, August 19 and 20th, 2006
Here are some images from this year's SWAIA Santa Fe Indian Market. There were 650 booths with artists from tribes all over the Unites States and an estimated crowd of 80,000 people from all over the world. It started at 7am on Saturday morning and ran through 5pm on Sunday. The rain started at noon on Saturday and kept going for most of the show but the crowds, music and shopping went on.

The exhibitors are prepared for anything It rained for most of the show but people stayed around Tayron Polequaptewa won a Blue Ribbon and Best of Division, again!

Tayron Polequaptewa won Best of Division and a 1st Place Blue Ribbon, for the second time!

St. Francis Cathedral There was music and entertainment for all Famous Navajo artist Harry Begay Lillian Lovato of Santo Domingo Pueblo A painter speaking with a prospective buyer Some pottery bronze sculptures were available a Santo Domingo booth of heishe and neckwear Fabulous pottery was shown Another pottery booth Local characters tourists another visitor in the rain people dressed up
