Hannaweeke Carico Lake Turquoise Zuni Hoop Earrings |
I wore these earrings during Indian Market and everyone commented on my 'great earrings'. They were entirely hand-made by Zuni elders Alice and Thomas Hannaweeke, who are mentioned in the Smithsonian and have been making jewelry together for over 50 years. These are set with rare, high-grade, natural Carico Lake Turquoise and feel wonderfully light on the ear. They dangle gently and look and feel like the penultimate Zuni earrings. 7/8" wide x 1 1/4" long, signed TAH. Only one pair available.

Purple Sugilite Sterling Earrings by Verdy Jake |
Just gorgeous! Not easy to come by, these hand-fabricated sterling silver earrings are set with four cabochons of gem-grade, natural Purple Sugilite from South Africa. The matching, dome-contoured stones are a brilliant shade of purple (undertones of magenta). The clean, understated, and refined silverwork was made by master Navajo silversmith Verdy Jake in New Mexico. Verdy created these with open backs to allow as much light to enter, and reflect, from the stones and it shows! 3/8" wide x 1 7/16" long, with posts for pierced ears, super light weight. Signed.

The beautiful natural turquoise stone in this sterling ring is from the Bisbee Mine in Arizona. It displays aqua to sky-blue coloring with red-brown matrix and is glassy, hard and smooth to the touch. 1/4" wide by 1/2" long. It is set in a smooth bezel atop a comfortable, narrow shank that is currently a size 7 1/4, can be resized. The stone was supplied by Bruce Mead of Bisbee, Arizona. Hand fabricated by Anglo artist Noah Pfeffer.

This lovely, narrow bracelet is set with colorful, high-grade Carico Lake Turquoise from Nevada. The natural stones display a radiant lime-green color that is enough by itself, or looks great stacked with other bracelets. Decorated with small silver drops, the bracelet is 1/8" wide with an inside measurement of 5 1/8" plus an additional 1 1/8" gap that is gently adjustable. This incredible old-style ring is set with a rare specimen of gem-quality, natural Kingman Turquoise from Arizona. The glassy, hard stone is a brilliant pure-blue color highlighted with metallic molybdenum matrix. 9/16" wide x 1 5/16" long, the stone has depth and zat, and feels smooth to the touch. It is set in a smooth bezel housing framed by twist-wire atop a tapering split ring shank decorated with stamped overlay. The ring was hand-fabricated and signed by Navajo silversmith Geraldine Yazzie in New Mexico. It is a size 7, adjustable up to 8 1/2 as is, can be resized if desired.

Just Fabulous! This gorgeous sterling ring is set with a large specimen of high-grade, natural turquoise from the famous #8 Mine in Nevada. The stone is classic #8: eggshell blue intermixed with fine, well-defined blue and bronze-toned spiderweb matrix that glassy, polished and smooth to the touch (exception: tiny matrix pit visible in area of bezel at low end). It measures 1/2" wide x 1 1/2" long, and is set in a smooth bezel housing framed by twist-wire atop a comfortable, tapering split ring shank that is a size 6 1/4 at it's smallest, though is adjustable up to 7 1/2 with no problem. The centerstone is a beautiful specimen of high-grade, natural #8 Turquoise from Nevada. The dome-contoured stone is sky-blue with a lighter center all punctuated with fascinating, fine bronze-toned spiderwebbing, 1/2" diameter, smooth and highly polished. Set in a smooth bezel housing and framed with twist-wire, the bracelet is hand-stamped on the 1/4"-wide sides. 4 7/8" inside measurement plus additional 1" gap that is easily adjustable. Size XS-S.
