Purple Sugilite Sterling Earrings by Verdy Jake |
Just gorgeous! Not easy to come by, these hand-fabricated sterling silver earrings are set with four cabochons of gem-grade, natural Purple Sugilite from South Africa. The matching, dome-contoured stones are a brilliant shade of purple (undertones of magenta). The clean, understated, and refined silverwork was made by master Navajo silversmith Verdy Jake in New Mexico. Verdy created these with open backs to allow as much light to enter, and reflect, from the stones and it shows! 3/8" wide x 1 7/16" long, with posts for pierced ears, super light weight. Signed.

These wonderful, old-style earrings are made with Kingman Turquoise and Apple Coral tiles inlaid onto a rectangle of white clam shell. Attached to the post with unassuming, narrow silver wire, these are timeless and feather-light to wear. Santo Domingo Pueblo Mosaic Inlay Earrings |
Easy to wear and great looking on, these earrings were made at the Santo Domingo Pueblo, maker is unknown. They are made of turquoise tiles inlaid onto Orange Spiney Oyster Shell backs and wrapped on the sides with sterling silver. The turquoise shows a variety of earthy shades of blue, aqua and green. 1/2" wide x 1 3/8" long, with hooks for pierced ears.

Don Supplee Hopi 18kt Gold Red Coral Corn Earrings |
These special, hand-fabricated earrings were made by reknown Hopi artist Don Supplee. They are solid 18kt gold set with gem-quality, natural Mediterranean Red Coral (3/16" wide x 3/8" long) that is pure red in color (no orange). The corn cobs dangle gently and make the total length 1 3/8" long. Finished with 18kt gold posts for pierced ears and gold backs. Made in 2000, in private collection until now. Great, natural turquoise earrings are a must for every collection. These traditional styled sterling silver earrings are each set with two specimens of natural, high-quality Turquoise Mountain Turquoise from Arizona. The stones are a beautiful shade of eggshell blue with darker-blue watermarking and bronze-blue matrix spiderwebbing. All the stones are mainly smooth to the touch: glassy and polished, The larger, bottom stones are about 7/16" wide x 11/16" long. The stones are framed by very fine twist-wire and beautiful, hand-stamped and scalloped borders. Finished with a slight polish, solid silver backs and posts for pierced ears.
