60's Kingman Turquoise Navajo Cluster Bracelet |
The 17 matching stones in this collectible bracelet were mined at the famous Kingman Mine in Arizona. Completely natural and of the highest quality. Mined in the 1960's, the turquoise is some of the most desirable for this mine: deep blue with molybdenum pyrite matrix present that adds character, depth and provenance. Molybdenum is used for hardening steel, which gives the turquoise around it a clarity of blue only seen in the best of Kingman with none of the white flecking or quartz floating through it. The stones average 3/16" x 3/8" long. Each stone is set in a smooth bezel housing against a darkened background and accented with silver drops that makes this one timeless. The comfortable, smooth bracelet is 1 3/8" wide at the center, tapering to 3/8" at the smooth, capped ends. Hand-fabricated and signed by master Navajo silversmith Verdy Jake in New Mexico, the bracelet has an inside measurement of 5 1/4" plus an additional 1" opening that is gently...
